Nestled in the trees of southwestern Wake County is a quiet family community named Ashley Downs. Ashley Downs is just a short drive from major shopping, business, entertainment, recreation and other big-city amenities. Ashley Downs is also close to award winning schools of excellence. Schools located in Ashley Downs’ zoned area include Olive Chapel Elementary, Turner Creek Elementary, Apex Middle, Lufkin Road Middle and Apex High.

We invite you to join the hundreds of newcomers discovering our delightful small town. Even though approximately 6 new residents relocate to Apex daily, we have maintained the small town character that is so unique in the rapidly growing Research Triangle Area.

Ashley Downs
Ashley Downs is a community of 120 two-story and ranch homes, of several different floor plans, located in Wake County, North Carolina. It is a pleasant neighborhood in which to reside, as it maintains the "country-living feeling" while being convenient to schools, shopping plazas and restaurants.
Apex, North Carolina
The Apex downtown reflects the town's rich historical beginning. Apex was first settled around 1867 and was incorporated in 1873. The name "Apex" was adopted because the community was the highest point on the Chatham Railroad between Richmond, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida
